Site upgrade
Hi everyone,
the site has had a long over due freshen up of the back end, there are a few new little features around the place that I hope will make things a little better.
Please let me / the team know if you spot any issues!
A number of our members with the support of cfastream have established a Wiki site about the CFA. For those who have not heard of a Wiki, "A Wiki is a website that allows the easy creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser using a simplified markup language or a WYSIWYG text editor." Simply put, it is a website where you can add & edit information about the CFA.
Please have a look at the site and add or edit the content as you see fit, the site can be found at http://wiki.cfastream.info/
As you probably know a number of the CFA radio streams are down, we are working with a number of members to either restore the stream or to establish replacement ones.
Our current Scanner Streams are as follows
The media player link for the Region 8,9,10,11,13,14 stream is Link

Please be aware that these streams are run by members of this site who host these at their homes etc, if the streams are down, please be patient as there is usually a good reason for it and they will be fixed asap
Please also be aware that during busy times the main stream may be hard to follow. If it is a large incident, then John may be able to lock the other channels out
I would like to invite all members to have a look at this website and consider purchasing one of these amazing books. This book has been compiled by a Committe of Parents and Friends of Glenvale School (Lilydale and Berwick Campuses) 100% of the profits from Sales of this book will be donated to CFA Stations in the firestorm area for essential equipment procurement projects.
The two campuses have a total of approximately 500 students and have produced a fantastic book
Due to a number of requests from members who would like to post images on the site but the image size restriction is to small, we have now increased the maximum image size to 850 x 850 !! This means that members who post images on the OzFire website can now post the same images here.
Fire Trader Australia is pleased to announce that it has acquired and taken over LTS Systems. The LTS siren sound is an Australian icon and we hope to further enhance the product range with new sirens and features.
Business shall be as usual but hope to increase our production, hold stock items and offer an exchange repair / warranty service. All customers will be officially infromed in the coming weeks.
